Directions:
Industrial Street is located east of Laird Drive, five blocks south of Eglinton Avenue East. Look for our blue & yellow sign, which reads The Prop Room outside 42 Industrial Street. You can access our showrooms either through the main office door, or park on the West side of the building and enter via the warehouse access door.

What is a Prop House?
A prop house is a place that rents items (props) for television shows and movie and film shoots. They also may rent items for parties and events, photoshoots and any other time that props might be necessary. The Prop Room has had the pleasure of providing props and set items for all of those types of events in the past and has a wide selection of items ranging from kitchen ware, books, typewriters, taxidermy, globes, furniture and many other unique and unusual items.
How does it work?The best way to request a quote is to send us an email with the item numbers of the items you are interested in renting as well as what your pickup date would be. Please keep in mind that we are open Monday - Friday from 10am - 6pm. Once you have decided on the items you would like to rent, we will process payment in order to confirm that the items are yours for the rental period. We do not offer cancellations or refunds once this payment has been processed. If you have additional questions regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to be in touch and we would be happy to discuss with you further.
Can I come in to look around?Absolutely! We would love to meet you, let you look around / source items as well as discuss what the vision is for your event, tv show or film. We are open from 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
Do you offer a student discount?Please speak with us further regarding student discounts. We would love it if you could visit and tell us more about your project and timeframe you would require the prop rental for.
Do you buy items or take donations?Sometimes, depending on what the item is and the condition of it. We are limited on space but always love to hear from you regarding the treasures you are parting ways with. The best thing to do would be to send us an email at theproproom@gmail.com with photographs of the items as well as information regarding if you are hoping to sell the items or donate. Do you sell itemsWe do sell some items from time to time. In the photo gallery, there is a section dedicated to props / antiques for sale. If other items are of interest, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are happy to have a conversation with you about items of interest.
